Sparrow Home Care takes every measure to assist you in changing elements of your lifestyle that affect your health, including smoking, exercise, eating a balanced diet, and maintaining a healthy weight, cholesterol level and blood pressure.

Joint replacement

After joint replacement surgery, Sparrow Home Care’s nurses and therapists will work with you under the direction of your personal physician to individualize your plan of care.

They will conduct a home safety inspection to ensure your home is set up for the most optimal rehab progress. They will look at the location of your bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and major living areas. They will also look for loose steps, railings, throw rugs, extension cord placements, lighting and more.

Sparrow Home Care will reinforce many of the same care elements received during your stay at the hospital and assist you in becoming independent in your home exercise program. Choosing Sparrow Home Care may allow you to return home sooner where you are in comfortable, familiar surroundings.
