Urologic Surgery

When medication and non-invasive procedures are unable to relieve symptoms, surgery remains the accepted and most effective treatment for a range of conditions. Urologic surgery treats conditions of:

  • male reproductive organs, such as prostate cancer, and
  • the male and female urinary tract, such as kidney or bladder cancer.

Robotic-assisted surgery is minimally invasive, giving you options you wouldn’t have with traditional “open” surgery.

For example, men who undergo robotic-assisted surgery to remove prostate cancer typically return to their daily activities in just three weeks. Even better, robotic-assisted surgery decreases the risks of two common complications of traditional prostate surgery: impotence and incontinence.
